Why should I visit Town Center?
Town Center is a sort-of base camp for visiting Big Sky. It is home to a grocery store, gear shop and rentals, shopping boutiques, a number of great restaurants, a movie theater, and hosts frequent events like the farmer's market and Music in the Mountains.
Where is Town Center?
Town Center is located about half way between the turnoff at US 191 and the Big Sky Ski Resort. It's less than a mile up the road from Meadow Village.
What sort of services and amenities does Town Center offer?
While there aren't any major hotels or lodges (most of these are located at the Big Sky base area), there are a few vacation rentals and condos. As far as food, you'll find a grocery store, coffee shop, and a few tasty restaurants. There are also some cute shops and a couple outfitters.
What can I do and see in Town Center?
Ousel Falls
From Town Center, continue out Ousel Falls Road and hike the mile long trail to beautiful Ousel Falls.
Music Events
The park at Town Center hosts a number of annual events including the free weekly Music in the Mountains, the Big Grass Bluegrass Festival, and the Big Sky Classical Music Festival.
Farmer's Market
The weekly farmer's market is quite a treat for locals and visitors. Take your pick from local produce and crafts.
