Why should I hike to Ousel Falls?
The Ousel Falls trail is a lush oasis easily accessible from Big Sky's Town Center. The cliff walls that form this little canyon will come as a surprise and see if you can wrap your head around the name of the river: South Fork of the West Fork of the Gallatin River. Be sure to dip your feet into the cool water beneath the falls. This easy hike is well maintained and suitable for all ages.
Where is the trailhead?
From Town Center, simply drive out Ousel Falls Road until you see Ousel Falls Park on the left (about 2 miles from the Town Center). Find a place to park and you can start hiking down the obvious trail.
